The response rate was 26.7%. Among all the nursing training institutions, the number of students who were recognized as being diagnosed with a developmental disorder was 49, or 0.1% of all students. Using the KJ Method, we analyzed 102 cases of significant learning difficulties instructors had observed during clinical training among nursing students; the 41 nameplates were sorted into 4 large groups, The results revealed learning difficulties attributed to “Difficulties communicating with nurses, instructors, trainers, instructors, group members, etc.” and “Difficulties mastering basic study habits” which the instructors interpreted as “Difficulties in mastering instructions despite repeated coaching.” These learning difficulties are considered to be deeply connected with developmental disorders.
